Dorner Introduces Z-Frame for QWIK Conveyor 5200 Series

HARTLAND, Wis., (October 22, 2008) - Dorner Manufacturing is taking the most flexible conveyor platform on the market to new heights by launching a Z-Frame for its QWIK Conveyor 5200 Series. The new frame allows end users in the industrial, automation and packaging industries to quickly and easily change product heights on QWIK conveyors without conveyor-to-conveyor transfers. Plus, because the new Z-Frame is integrated into a single conveyor system, users avoid the added costs associated with additional pulleys and drives.

"The Z-Frame is an ideal addition to our QWIK conveyor platform," said Glenn Schulz, vice president of engineering for Dorner Manufacturing Corp. "Our customers now have virtually limitless combinations of straights, inclines, declines and curves - which translates into important manufacturing flexibility. With our QWIK conveyors, end users can truly rest assured knowing they'll be able to build and modify their system to meet any changing line requirements."

QWIK Conveyor 5200 Series

Dorner's QWIK conveyors are specially designed to change as quickly as today's manufacturing needs. The conveyors can be easily reconfigured using just a few basic tools and are available in an array of sizes to fit a wide variety of applications. Key features and benefits of the QWIK series include:

o Modular, 15 degree curve segments for quick and easy reconfiguration

o Completely contained belt, which eliminates catenary sag and reduces pinch points

o Integrated low-voltage wireway with snap-in cover

o QWIK Slots(TM) for fast and simple mounting of controls and accessories

o Patented Sprocket Alignment Key for quick belt assembly

o Air and wiring management systems, which speed system set up

o Conveyor lengths of up to 100 feet

o Conveyor speeds of up to 250 feet-per-minute

o Unmatched delivery speed - the product ships 5 days following order
