ICOP and Sprint Team for School Bus Safety, Security, and Emergency Preparedness/Response

ICOP to Showcase Powerful Capabilities of Next Generation Mobile DVR System for School Buses at NAPT Annual Conference

ICOP Solutions Effectively Enable Student Safety Monitoring, GPS Tracking and Risk Management for School Authorities

LENEXA, Kan., Oct. 23 / / - ICOP Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ:ICOP), an industry-leading company engaged in advancing digital surveillance solutions, will be showcasing its innovative new School Bus Security Camera System in the Sprint (NYSE:S) Business Solutions exhibit at the National Association for Pupil Transportation's (NAPT) 34th Annual Conference and Trade Show. The Conference, scheduled to run from October 26-30, 2008, will be held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The new ICOP School Bus Security Camera System incorporates the ICOP Model 4000 (four or eight camera) mobile digital video recorder and controller to deliver high image quality, extended periods of recording and increased flexibility for onboard communication, sensor integration and networking. Onboard camera coverage provides surveillance for passenger cabin video and audio monitoring, recording of stop-arm violators, and views of driver area and bus entrance. Increased camera capability also allows for windshield-mounted cameras that record activity in front of the bus, including student crossings, intersections and level (railroad) crossings.

Laura Owen, President and Chief Operating Officer of ICOP, noted, "Many school districts are demanding solutions that go well beyond merely serving as replacements for legacy VCR systems. Transportation managers are seeking solutions that help to proactively address traffic safety issues, driver risk management and discouragement of school bus vandalism, theft and assault. Moreover, we believe it is vital that new mobile video technology provide managers the ability to immediately and effectively respond to events while they are in progress, enhance bus driver training, promote driver compliance with safety laws and school regulations, and improve all aspects of school bus operations. With ICOP solutions, all of these objectives, and more, can be readily achieved."

"We have seen an increased demand for fully integrated push-to-talk, voice, high speed data and video services in the K-12 pupil transportation education market segment," said Ed Davalos, National Director for Education Sales for Sprint. "The ICOP solution complements our existing suite of offerings. Our customers continue to benefit from Sprint's strong leadership position in this market and expertise in offering thousands of school buses on a daily basis with customized Sprint GPS solutions."
