After you go live, one-click backups, web stats and site performance statistics, and an active site monitoring and alert system easily keep you on top of the operational aspects of your site. And for the ultimate in ease, all features are integrated right into Aptana Studio 1.2 which can also plug into other Eclipse-based tools.

Aptana Cloud's entry level pricing is 4 cents an hour -- under $1 a day. Higher scalability services start at 5 cents an hour per 256 MB of allocated RAM and cost even less per unit as you scale up. Unlike other hosting providers there are no set-up fees or lock-in contracts, and since the application platforms in Aptana Cloud are open source, your applications are portable if you do not like the service.
