Patlite Announces the Release of BD Series Alarm

Torrance, Calif., September, 2008 - Patlite announces the release of BD series alarm, a unique audible product that has the capability of playing up to 32 built-in sounds. The 32 sounds built into the BD series alarm gives end users the ability to sound different alarms based on different condition. It's small 80 mm (~ 3.15 inch) square size allows it be mounted virtually anywhere on the machine without taking up a lot of space, and its 90 dB output (at 1 m (3 ft)) assures that the alarm will be heard in just about any environment.

The 32 sounds are stored in 16 groups, with 4 sounds (or channels) per group. The 32 sounds are comprised of a variety of sounds such as beeps, chimes, and melodies, so different conditions can be easily identified. The controls and memory card slot are conveniently located at the front of the panel for easy access and operation. Behind the panel is a volume control, a rotary dial to select one of the 16 groups the user wants to use, and an SD memory card slot to program a unique group of four sounds selected by the user.

The BD series has an IP-54 rating which protects it from dust and slashing water (flush mount, front direction only), is RoHS compliant, and has CE & UL certifications.

The BD series comes with a black or beige face.

Patlite is dedicated to manufacturing products that will improve safety, productivity, quality and security. Patlite has become Japan's largest manufacturer of visual and audio warning devices since its beginning in 1947. As new applications emerged to match the growing market, Patlite has successfully continued to develop new visual and audio products to meet customer's demands.
