Oneplus(TM) Power Conditioned UPS Designed for Branch Circuit Protection in Retail Environments
- Compact, Affordable Unit also a Good Fit for Telecom & Datacom Applications -
LIBERTYVILLE, IL, October 15, 2008 - Point-of-Sale equipment, ATMs, and kiosks are subject to costly failures often traced to power disruptions. To help combat this growing problem, Chloride offers its ONEACŪ brand ONePlus Series Power Conditioned UPS. Compact and affordable, it delivers a high-performance power conditioning system integrated with well-engineered battery backup protection to assure maximum uptime of sensitive electronics in retail environments, as well as those deployed in datacom and telecommunications networks.
The ONePlus line spans from 250 VA to 1000 VA and operates in 120 V, 60 Hz or 230 V 50/60 Hz environments, making it a truly global solution. Each unit features patented ONEGround technology to protect equipment against ground skew problems.
The ONePlus's isolation transformer eliminates power contaminants, limiting let-through to less than one-half Volt in Common-mode (N-G) and less than 10 Volts in Normal-mode (LN). Line-interactive topology and true sine wave output ensures the cleanest, most reliable power. Voltage regulation with buck & boost technology compensates for line sags and brown-outs while conserving batteries.
Incorporating low-impedance power conditioning and Virtual Kelvin Ground, the ONePlus creates the "ONEAC Portable Dedicated Line." Unlike conventional dedicated lines, this simple plug & play installation and portability means no upfront installation costs for running dedicated isolated ground circuits and no future dedicated circuit due to moves or remodels.
Emergency Battery Backup
The ONePlus UPS features user-replaceable battery packs for ease and rapid replacement without downtime, and without risk. The ONePlus will provide from 5 to 22 minutes of runtime, depending upon the load and the model selected.
UPS Communications
The ONePlus Series UPS is equipped with a USB and Serial (RS232) port for communications. It also includes ONEAC MopUPSŪ Express software for computer-based monitoring and management of the UPS and battery.
Warranty
The ONePlus Series UPS is backed by a five-year warranty on all power and control systems and a two-year warranty on the battery sub-system. An extended warranty on batteries is also available at the time of purchase.
Approvals & Availability
ONEAC ONePlus Series UPS models are FCC, Class A certified and listed under UL1778 and CSA22.2 safety standards. Chloride's ONePlus UPS products are available now.
