High-Voltage Amplifiers are optimized for bias applications.
October 17, 2008 -
Capable of operating in DC, reversible, and amplifier modes, HVA Series provides programmable high-voltage DC to greater than 1 kHz output. It exhibits 10 ppm temperature coefficients on +10 Vdc reference and 25 ppm coefficients on output voltage monitor and high voltage output. Able to source and sink current, series provides ppm-level line and load regulation. Respective output voltage ranges for bipolar and unipolar modules are 0 to ±5 kV and 0 to ±10 kV.

Ultravolt Introduces New Line of Standard Product High Voltage Amplifiers
RONKONKOMA, New York - August 28, 2008 - UltraVolt, Inc., the world-leading manufacturer of standard-product DC-to-DC high-voltage power supplies, today announced the development of a new precision high-voltage amplifier - the "HVA" Series - capable of operating in DC, reversible, and amplifier modes.
UltraVolt's new "HVA" Series provides a high-resolution programmable high-voltage DC to greater than 1 kHz output. This series of high-voltage amplifiers is optimized for bias applications and provides excellent line regulation, load regulation, dynamic response, and stability. One of the most advanced features of the "HVA" Series is its ability to both source and sink current!
All "HVA" Series units exhibit 10ppm temperature coefficients on the +10VDC reference and 25ppm coefficients on the output voltage monitor and high voltage output. In addition to offering high-precision and low temperature coefficients, "HVA" Series units provide PPM-level line and load regulation. Another key feature of the new "HVA" Series is its low micro-discharge (LMD) design, making it less susceptible to surface charge problems.
"HVA" Series units are available in either unipolar or bipolar configurations. Output voltages for bipolar "HVA" Series modules are available at 0 to ±5kV. Unipolar high-voltage amplifiers are available at 0 to 10kV (positive or negative).
"UltraVolt's new "HVA" Series directly addresses the needs of our analytical equipment & production tool customers" said James Morrison, Co-Founder & CEO. "This new series of standard product high-voltage amplifiers offers the precision capabilities needed for advanced designs."
