Ultrasonic Press Systems are designed for plastic welding.

October 20, 2008 - With iQ ultrasonic power supply/advanced controller, 16iQ Series utilizes Multi-Core processing architecture to process weld data - Power, Energy, Distance, Force, Frequency, Time - quickly (0.5 ms update rate) for optimal consistency and accuracy. While 40,130 kHz systems have low-mass precision slide mechanism designed for delicate, tight tolerance, small applications, 20 kHz systems are also available with Dukane Ultra ridged H-frame support for precision, high-force applications.

NEW iQ Series Ultrasonic Welding Systems

Dukane Corporation introduces a complete new line of Ultrasonic Press systems for plastic welding.

The 16iQ Series" system utilizes Dukane's new Patent pending iQ ultrasonic power supply/advanced controller. The iQ Series systems have the fastest data processing rate in the industry - 0.5ms update rate, due to Multi-Core processing architecture. This means these systems will process the weld data - Power, Energy, Distance, Force, Frequency, Time, twice as fast as older series equipment and a higher weld consistency and accuracy is delivered. The product line includes 40130 kHz press systems that have a low-mass precision slide mechanism designed for delicate, tight tolerance, small applications. 20 kHz presses are also available with the Dukane Ultra ridged H-frame support for precision high force applications. The product line is truly modular and configurable to match users needs. Controls vary from basic Time only, to advanced (Time, Energy, Distance, Force, Peak Power) NlST traceable with calibration and validation for Medical applications. Dual pressure comes standard on the base unit. Advanced units have a force transducer and closed-loop electronic pressure regulator, which when coupled with Dukane's optional, exclusive, built- in hydraulic speed control, allows for precise melt velocity control.

The user interface is configurable to be either horizontal or vertical, allowing the power supply to be integrated directly on the press system. This new design saves space and is modular for easy repair and maintenance. All of the iQ Series ultrasonic power supplies have Dukane's exclusive flow through thermostatically controlled cooling tunnel, reducing the opportunity for contamination of internal components from dusty environments. Units incorporate patent pending UMMA, ultrasonic modular menu adapter. The LCD graphic display makes it clear, crisp and easy to view.

Dukane iQ explorer can be loaded onto users local area networks. This allows access to the weld data, machine controls and storage of machine setups on the local area network or via the Internet for remote locations. Troubleshooting of equipment and applications can now be performed from anywhere in the world. iQ - lntelligent Quality series ultrasonic welding system sets the standard for precision, repeatability, flexibility and ease of use.

Dukane Corporation is a leading international supplier of ultrasonic, vibration, spin, thermal press and hot-plate welders for OEM and commercial plastic assembly markets. Dukane is an IS0 9001:2000 certified manufacturer.
