RSuite CMS Releases Adobe CS3 Connector
Editors Have Access to CMS While Working in InCopy
AUDUBON, PA - October 8, 2008 - RSuite CMS, the content management system for publishers, now offers a CS3 Connector for InCopy users. The tight integration with Adobe's CS3 enables InCopy users the ability to browse and open XML or InCopy documents in RSuite directly from the Adobe application.
The RSuite CS3 Connector empowers users to manage their content as XML within RSuite and to create a transformation to and from their own XML content model to the native XML file format of InCopy. This is a great leap forward for publishers who want to manage their content as XML throughout its life-cycle but also want to use the popular Adobe tools in their editorial and production process. Users can also store and develop workflows around InCopy and InDesign documents in RSuite.
"RSuite's CS3 Connector is a boon to publishers who want their editorial users to remain in the comfort of the familiar Adobe InCopy application while still taking advantage of a native XML content management system," stated RSuite product manager Ed Stevenson. "As an Adobe Solutions Partner, we are excited to introduce this connector and have many plans for extending it, including working with InDesign and offering other interactions with the RSuite server."
"RSuite is at the leading edge of what people are doing with XML. RSuite is the missing component; the missing link that is needed in many publishing environments," explained Adobe's business development director Gary Cosimini.
