October 7, 2008 - Available in standard and custom sizes, Four-Fold Door Systems include High-Speed Algorithm Drive Operator, which features fully programmable speed, acceleration, and deceleration as well as Collision Detection System. Integrated battery backup allows doors to operate in event of power failure. In less than 7 seconds, F-Series door panels fold completely clear of opening, and are visible by drivers during entire operation, eliminating damage to doors and vehicles.

Four-Fold Doors Feature New HAL Operator


Four-fold door systems from Door Engineering and Manufacturing, Kasota, Minn., feature a new High-speed ALgorithm Drive Operator (HAL). The HAL Operator features fully programmable speed, acceleration and deceleration as well as a Collision Detection System. The integrated battery backup allows the doors to operate in the event of a power failure.

Door Engineering's four-fold door systems offer a combination of long service life and low maintenance, while providing high-speed and high-cycle operation. Four-fold door systems are designed in standard sizes, but can also be customized for large openings and unique applications. The F-Series door panels fold completely clear of the opening in less than 7 seconds and are visible by drivers during their entire operation, thereby eliminating costly damage to both the doors and vehicles.
