Fox Electronics Provides Rapid Delivery of New Low-Cost Miniature XpressO Oscillators in Any Frequency from 0.75 to 250 MHz
Fort Myers, Fla. September 29, 2008 - Fox Electronics, a leading global supplier of frequency control solutions, has introduced its new, exceptionally low cost, 3.2 mm x 2.5 mm HCMOS XpressO oscillators, which can be shipped in 10 days or less for production quantities and next day for samples, in any frequency from 0.75 MHz to 250 MHz.
With a uniquely wide frequency range as well as an industry standard footprint and pin-out, the new 3.3 V XpressO oscillators are ideal for a variety of applications that require low jitter in an exceptionally compact, cost-effective package. These include microprocessor, DSP, FPGA, SONET and Ethernet environments as well as industrial controllers, test and measurement equipment and storage area networks.
The RoHS-compliant oscillators are available in ±50 ppm and ±100 ppm stabilities with an operating temperature of -20°C to +70°C (-4°F to +158°F) and feature a gold over nickel termination finish.
Application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) incorporated into the oscillators enable accurate performance, decreased cost and increased flexibility. In addition, the XpressO oscillators offer noise levels comparable to bulk quartz and SAW oscillators by employing proprietary third order DSM noise reducing technology and a low noise architecture.
As with all XpressO oscillators, the new series features Fox's exclusive internal Serial ID for exceptional quality control and unique traceability of each individual part throughout the entire manufacturing process.
Pricing for a 3.2 x 2.5 mm 27 MHz 100 ppm XpressO (FXO-HC330 27.000) in quantities of 10,000 is $0.47 per unit. Delivery is 1 to 2 days for samples and 10 working days for production quantities.
