ProRoc® Moisture and Mold Resistant Setting Compound is formulated for use in all stages of finishing, including filling joints, embedding fiberglass mesh joint tape, and concealing joints, fasteners, and trim accessories. Plaster-based product can be sanded when dry and is mold-resistant. Mold-X10 Mold Resistant Mesh Tape is fiberglass mesh that is self-adhesive. Complimenting ProRoc® Gypsum Board, both create finishing system for interior walls in residential/commercial applications.

CertainTeed Gypsum Expands ProRoc® with M2Tech(TM) Moisture and Mold Resistant Product Offering
(Valley Forge, Pa.) - In response to the growing demand for building products that help protect homes and buildings from moisture and mold, CertainTeed Gypsum has added two new finishing products that complement its innovative ProRoc® Gypsum Board with M2Tech(TM).
ProRoc Moisture and Mold Resistant Setting Compound with M2Tech and Mold-X10(TM) Mold Resistant Mesh Tape create an ideal finishing system for interior walls in both residential and commercial applications. Through independent testing, the M2Tech platform achieved the highest rating possible according to the ASTM D3273, the industry's benchmark test for mold resistance. The products are now available at building materials dealers who stock ProRoc finishing products in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States and from coast to coast within Canada.

The ProRoc Moisture and Mold Resistant Setting Compound with M2Tech is specially formulated for use in all stages of finishing, including filling joints, embedding fiberglass mesh joint tape and concealing joints, fasteners and trim accessories. This plaster-based product can be easily sanded once completely dry to give a ready-to-prime finished surface. In addition to mold resistance, the product features unmatched strength and durability, which ultimately reduces the callbacks and cracks that often result from a house or building settling over time.
Initially developed by CertainTeed Gypsum's sister company, Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics, Mold-X10 Mold Resistant Mesh Tape is a tough fiberglass mesh that increases joint strength and integrity. The tape is self-adhesive, making it easy to apply.
ProRoc Gypsum Board with M2Tech is a high-strength, uniformly flat wallboard, designed for use on interior walls and ceilings in residential, commercial and institutional applications. It is lightweight and easy to cut and install over steel or wood framing. Utilizing a water-resistant core and a moisture- and mold-resistant paper facing, the gypsum board provides enhanced protection against mold growth.
Comprised of both pre- and post-consumer waste, with a recycled content of up to 96 percent, ProRoc Gypsum Board helps building professionals qualify toward credits for both the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED(R)) through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) Green Building Program.
