Metallized Carbon Corp. Offers Metcar 1515 Copper Grade

Designed for heavy loading at extreme temperatures

Metallized Carbon Corporation, a global leader in the manufacture of oil-free, self-lubricating materials, offers its Metcar 1515 Copper mechanical grade. Designed to operate without lubrication in dry and dust-prone environments at temperatures up to 750 degrees Fahrenheit, Metcar 1515 is ideal for bearing and thrust washers in a variety of applications such as, but not limited to: kilns, kiln cars, oven dryers, dust and fume collectors, ventilating dampers, furnaces and conveyors.

Metcar 1515 is a unique, maintenance-free, high-temperature bearing that provides excellent current carrying capabilities. While all Metcar bearings have inherently high electrical conductivity properties, Metcar 1515 Copper is unsurpassed in this regard, making it the grade of choice for current carrying bearings.

Metcar bearings are self-lubricating, non-galling, dimensionally stable and have high compressive strength. Boasting remarkable chemical resistance, good thermal properties and high electrical conductivity, the bearings and bearing assemblies are the ideal carbon-graphite solution for applications in harsh operating conditions.
