Metal Oxide Resistors withstand adverse conditions.


September 30, 2008 - Providing resistance range of 0.22 W to 1 MW, RR Series comes in 1, 2, and 3 W power ratings for voltage range of 350-750 V. Manufactured by depositing homogeneous film of metal alloy onto high-grade ceramic body, resistors are coated with non-flammable lacquer providing mechanical, electrical, and climatic protection. Coating is resistant to all cleaning solvents in accordance with MIL-STD-202, method 215 and IEC 60068-2-45.

New Metal Oxide Resistors for Circuits Demanding High Power and Reliability


A new range of highly stable and reliable metal oxide resistors is capable of withstanding high power in a small package. New RR series resistors are ideal for pulse applications in adverse conditions and are available in three different sizes with power ratings of 1, 2 and 3W for a voltage range from 350 up to 750 volts.

London - Aug. 21, 2008 - Now available from Tyco Electronics is a new range of highly stable and reliable metal oxide resistors capable of withstanding high power in a small package. New RR series resistors are ideal for pulse applications in adverse conditions and are available in three different sizes with power ratings of 1, 2 and 3W for a voltage range from 350 up to 750Volts. Highly temperature resistant the devices feature a resistance range from 0.22W up to 1MW.

RR series resistors are available in various forming styles and provide defined interruption behaviour (fusing time) and different leads for different applications like power supplies, amplifiers, household appliances and ballasts.

Manufactured by depositing a homogeneous film of metal alloy onto a high-grade ceramic body, the metal oxide resistors are coated with a non-flammable lacquer providing mechanical, electrical and climatic protection. The coating is resistant to all cleaning solvents in accordance with MIL-STD-202, method 215 and IEC 60068-2-45.
The devices come packaged in ammo pack boxed or tape and reel format.
