Epoxy Resin and Accelerant create damp proof membrane.

September 29, 2008 - Consisting of solvent free, 2-part epoxy resin system, DPM IT One Coat cures within 18-24 hr to provide waterproof surface membrane. Product prevents passage of moisture into subsequent layers, is pigmented blue for visual control over coverage uniformity, and is suitable for isolating moisture where relative humidity values are above 92%. Designed for use with damp proof membranes, DPM IT A Additive reduces curing times to as little as 3 hours after application.

Ultra Floor Launches New Single Coat DPM and DPM Accelerant

The introduction of the products is a direct response to industry requirements and the company's dedication to providing customers with user-friendly solutions that meet their needs. Ultra Floor's DPM IT one coat and DPM IT A provide faster application alternatives to the traditional two layer damp proofing membranes. Both new products will be launched at the National Floor Show in Harrogate from 2nd - 4th September 2008 where customers will be able to observe their application and performance, and receive practical installation advice.

DPM IT one coat is a solvent free, two-part epoxy resin system, which cures within 18-24 hours to provide a waterproof surface membrane. The product prevents the passage of moisture into subsequent layers, therefore allowing early installations of floorcoverings in fast track building programmes. DPM IT one coat is pigmented blue to allow the user to visually control coverage uniformity, and is suitable for isolating
moisture where relative humidity values are above 92%.

The second addition to the range, DPM IT A, is a damp proof membrane additive, specifically designed for use with Ultra DPM IT one coat and Ultra DPM IT two coat
damp proof membranes. As an accelerant, it reduces their curing times to as little as 3 hours after application and allows for the early installation of levelling compounds, vinyls, carpets and other products.

The products will be available from September and their introduction into the market is going to be supported by an advertising and a direct mail campaign. In addition,
customers will be able to experience them in their own time at the Instarmac offices or on-site through the company's dedicated technical and site support teams.

Instarmac also offers a 24-48 hours delivery service throughout England and Wales, alongside a comprehensive range of floor levellers, repair mortars
and primers.
