Along with ion optics and quick-change ion source, Clarus® 560 S gas chromatography (GC)/mass spectrometry (MS) product comes with data handling suite that offers reporting capabilities with templates for specific needs of labs conducting environmental, forensic, and general chemical analyses. New Clarus® 560 S Combines a Robust GC with High-End MS for Value and Performance
WALTHAM, Mass. - PerkinElmer, a global leader in application-focused measurement and analysis solutions, today announced an expansion of the company's gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS) product line with the introduction of the Clarus® 560 S GC/MS. It is designed specifically for environmental, food, pharmaceutical and forensic laboratories that want a robust, reliable GC/MS system that offers both value and high performance.
The Clarus 560 S GC/MS is an integrated solution providing users with the needed sensitivity, mass range and speed to ensure high levels of productivity and performance at an affordable price in a single quadrupole mass spectrometer. Based on the proven Clarus MS platform, the system includes state-of-the-art electronics, ion optics and a quick-change ion source. In addition, it features an efficient turbomolecular pump to rapidly achieve vacuum and reduce the downtime in laboratories where column changes are frequent.
