HyperRoll Announces Real Time Access to Hyperion Financial Management
Faster analysis and reporting of HFM data using Oracle Essbase and Hyperion Planning
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 11 /- Underscoring its commitment to accelerating access to business data, HyperRoll, Inc., the leading provider of Data Performance Management software, today announced the general availability of its new software product called HyperRoll Live Link for Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). HyperRoll Live Link is a new product that enables real-time financial reporting and analysis on HFM data directly from Oracle Essbase, Hyperion Planning, and other business intelligence tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and BusinessObjects.
HyperRoll Live Link is a win for customers who have been hampered up to now by the hours- or days-long data transfers that commonly occur between HFM and these other analysis applications. By eliminating these data access delays between these applications, HyperRoll Live Link enables financial analysts and managers to use sophisticated analysis on the latest, up-to-the-second business activity for better, more profitable business decisions.
Budgeting cycles are faster because comparative analysis of business results held in HFM with plans or forecasts held in Hyperion Planning are no longer delayed by data imports from HFM. Advanced reporting and analysis is possible with analytic tools such as Essbase, OBIEE or BusinessObjects. More users can access HFM at the same time as high-intensity analysis can be off-loaded from the HFM application server. HyperRoll Live Link for HFM is the only product that can provide all of these benefits, and more, without the need for lengthy manual extracts from HFM and even longer data loads to other environments -- thereby enabling financial managers to accelerate their period close cycle, increase data quality and react faster to ad hoc management information requests.
