September 3, 2008 - Available in permanent and disposable styles, Des-Case(TM) Hygroscopic Breathers remove water and particulates from air entering hydraulic reservoirs, gear boxes, and process tanks. Desiccant removes water vapor, while microfiberglass pleated filter eliminates particulates down to 1 micron. Typically supplied with window to show when desiccant needs to be changed, breathers minimize abrasive wear caused by dirty fluids and prevent chemical reactions and spoilage.
