FleetwoodGoldcoWyard to Introduce New Robotic Products at Pack Expo 2008

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - July 30, 2008 - FleetwoodGoldcoWyard, a leading supplier of advanced conveyance technology and product handling equipment, will introduce two new robotic products, a bulk depalletizer and a rotary case palletizer, at Pack Expo 2008, Nov. 9 to 13, at McCormick Place in Chicago. A team of professionals from FleetwoodGoldcoWyard will be available in booths #S-400 and #S-406 throughout the show to discuss all of the company's latest product offerings.

The Robotic Bulk Depalletizer depalletizes multiple products to individual lines. The system has the capability of depalletizing like products or a multiple of different products. The products are removed from pallets in a full layer via either a magnetic or vacuum pick-head. Separator sheets are removed from the pallet load and stacked as are the pallets themselves. The system can be designed to replace multiple depalletizers, while utilizing a limited amount of floor space, and is more economical to purchase, maintain and operate than multiple stand-alone machines.

The Robotic Rotary Case Palletizer is a workhorse, handling up to eight different SKUs of product at the same time. The system is designed for companies currently palletizing multiproduct rainbow packaging or with multiple lines feeding a common palletizer, and is capable of handling an array of case sizes and patterns at the same time. Among its features are product confirmation via barcode scanning and the ability to detect reject cases. In addition to operating in a typical plant environment, the palletizer has an options package to operate in freezer applications as low as minus 10 degrees Fahrenheit.

"FleetwoodGoldcoWyard offers decades of experience in material handling, coupled with proven robotics technologies and capabilities," said Richard Owens, Western Regional Sales Manager. "Our new product offerings feature compact designs to save valuable floor space, handle multiple products in a single cell, utilize electro-servo-driven technology with no hydraulics, require less maintenance, and are designed to outlast conventional palletizing and depalletizing equipment."
