Measuring 86 mm thick, PANEL1178-841 is constructed with industrial-grade, NEMA 4/IP65 front bezel and 17 in. SXGA TFT LCD offering max resolution of 1,280 x 1,024 pixels. It is based on Intel® Q965+ICH8 Express chipset and powered by Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo processor with up to 3 Gb dual-channel DDR533/677/800 system memory. Along with several I/O options, RoHS-compliant solution supports dual 2.5 in. HDDs or one 3.5 in. HDD as well as WLAN module and antenna for wireless connectivity.

The PANEL1178-841 adopts a rugged industrial-grade front bezel, and is equipped with a 17" SXGA TFT LCD with a resolution of up to 1280 x 1024 pixels. With only 86mm in thickness, the PANEL1178-841 can be applied in space-limited harsh environments. Its applications include wireless self-service points, interactive kiosks, and building automation.
High Performance Core(TM)2 Duo Architecture
The PANEL1178-841 uses the Intel® Q965+ICH8 Express chipset and supports an Intel® Core(TM)2 Duo processor in the LGA775 package with up to 3 GB of dual channel DDR533/677/800 system memory. Equipped with the dual core technology, the high performance industrial grade panel computer enables users to simultaneously run demanding applications.
Modern and Slim Mechanism Design
The modern industrial-grade front bezel is NEMA 4 / IP65 compliant with the advantages of light weight, high degree of hardness, good heat releasing, easy-to-shape, and anti-corrosion ability to be designed to work in a wide range of environments and heavy-duty industrial fields. The PANEL1178-841 features a built-in speaker for multimedia use. It also supports a WLAN module & antenna (optional) for wireless connectivity. This durable panel computer also supports two 2.5" HDD or one 3.5" HDD for high-capacity storage. Other I/O advantages include dual Gigabit Ethernet, three COM ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a DVI-I connector, Line-out/Mic-in, two Firewire (IEEE 1394a), and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports.
