GN Netcom Delivers Next Generation of Hands-Free Communication with Innovative Speakerphone

Jabra SP700 Incorporates Latest Technology with an Enhanced Driving Experience

NASHUA, N.H., Aug. 25 /-- GN Netcom, the world leader in innovative headset solutions, today announced that the Jabra SP700, a versatile new speakerphone, is available at retail outlets nationwide. The Jabra SP700 offers a new level of usability for drivers by transmitting cell phone calls to a car's FM radio, allowing users to hear calls over the car's audio system and ensuring a hands-free driving experience.

Just clip the SP700 onto a sun visor and tune the FM radio to the frequency set on the speakerphone and the user can receive calls or play music stored on cell phones through the car stereo speakers. On cars with RDS enabled stereos the caller's phone number will be displayed on the stereo display so users can see at a glance who is calling.

For additional convenience, the SP700 has an intuitive audio feature that lets users know when the speakerphone status changes, announcing instructions such as 'power off', 'the incoming caller's number' and 'connected' in a choice of ten languages. Advanced DSP noise reduction and echo cancellation ensure crystal clear sound quality for both the caller and the user, blocking out background noise while the caller's voice is digitally enhanced for clear reception.

With a classic slim line design, the SP700 speakerphone easily blends in with the car's interior and features 'night driving mode' which dims the integrated LED icons.

Key specifications of the Jabra SP700 include:

-- FM Transmitter so that you can listen to calls and music through your car's stereo speakers.

-- Voice announcements in 10 languages

-- Auto-pairing to mobile phone

-- Night driving mode

-- Up to 14 hours talk time and 255 hours standby time

-- Background noise reduction via digital signal processing (DSP) technology and echo cancellation

-- A2DP for music streaming

-- Bluetooth 2.0 supporting headset and hands free profile

-- Weighs under 3 ounces

-- Includes a car charger, USB adapter, clip for visor and quick start manual

The SP700 is available at retail outlets nationwide for a suggested retail price of $99.99.
