New Little David(R) Random Legend Case Sealer

South Canaan, PA: Today's market demands packaging equipment flexible enough to change as production requirements change. The new Little David® Random Legend SeriesM Case Sealer, manufactured by Loveshaw, an ITW Company, meets this requirement. Introduced at Pack Expo West in Las Vegas, this one unit is capable of meeting the box range breadth of what previously required several separate units.

Low cost
Single Mast design with an enclosed head-lifting cylinder
Sealed drive system
Extended side rails
Roller in-feed table with integrated roller switch to operate rails
CaseLocker(tm) tape cartridges
Back to back feature reduces head travel for uniform runs
Lockable head and rails allow for uniform runs

The new Little David Random Legend Series(TM) Case Sealer uses pressure sensitive tape to seal the top and bottom of boxes. This Random unit tapes boxes ranging from 3" to 24" heights and 4 1/2" to 22" widths and 3" to infinite lengths. This unit can convert to 2" or 3" tape requirements. Leg extensions are marked with both inch and metric graduated scales. The side and lock leg extensions accommodate conveyor heights from 22 1/4" to 32 1/4". The top and bottom heavy duty CaseLocker® ST Cartridges
are interchangeable. The cartridge allows side access for simple tape rethreading. The top cartridge tips back on the tape head to allow rethreading without removing the cartridge.

In addition to flexibility, the Little David Random Legend Series Case Sealer provides the simple operation and reliability expected from a Little David product. This unit has plug in operation and requires minimal operator training. The sealed drive system and CaseLocker ST Cartridge require NO lubrication. The heavy-duty design of this model includes structural grade tubing to support the single mast construction. The modem design encloses and protects the mast, drive system, side rails, and top
head and still allows easy access to all components. Wide belts and wider hold down strips securely grip boxes for consistent closture at belt speeds of 80 feet per minute.
