C&K Develops Snap-In Illuminated Circular Rocker Switches with Variety of Actuator Styles

NEWTON, MA (July 7, 2008) - C&K Components, a leading international supplier of tact switches, toggle, rocker and pushbutton switches, and smart card interconnect devices, has developed a family of snap-in panel mount rocker switches. Designated the CR Series, the single pole rocker switches feature a round body along with a variety of actuator styles.

"The round CR Series rockers are available with circular, oval or paddle actuator styles, and can be illuminated in white, red, amber or green colors," said Owen Camden, product manager for C&K Components. "The unique style and versatility of the switches makes them ideal for small and large appliances, office equipment, computers and peripherals, and audio/video equipment."

The rocker switches are available in black, white and red opaque color combinations. Electrical functionality is SPDT/On-On or SPST/On-Off.

The CR Series rocker switches fit a 20.2mm diameter panel cut out with a behind-panel-depth of 22.6mm. Maximum current rating is 16A @ 125VAC and 10A @ 250VAC, with a VDE rating of 10A @ 125VAC and 6A @ 250VAC. Electrical life is 10,000 make and break cycles at full load. Operating temperature ranges from -20°C to +85°C.

The panel mount rocker switches are also available in miniature rectangular styles, single and double power devices, and speciality products. Illuminated versions are also available.
