Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions Announces 600 Series Of AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA Systems

Brockton, Mass. - Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions, an innovative leader in electronic packaging and system expansion solutions with 30 years experience in electronic packaging specialization, announces its 600 Series of AdvancedTCA and MicroTCA systems engineered to cost-effectively address demanding power, thermal management, and connectivity requirements. The 600 Series includes configurable AdvancedTCA (633, 646) and MicroTCA (650) models that can be customized to address individual needs.

Designed to meet network equipment-building system (NEBS) requirements and the PICMG 3.0 AdvancedTCA specification, the AdvancedTCA models are ideal for the telecommunications, enterprise and datacom marketplaces. Available in a variety of slot configurations to suit individual bandwidths, these systems include unique dual-redundant Pigeon Point Systems shelf management modules. All field-replaceable units are intelligent devices and communicate to the shelf managers through the IPMI. The 600 Series AdvancedTCA systems are equipped with a front removable push/pull intelligent cooling system, featuring six dual fan modules to cool up to 220 watts front side and 30 watts back side.

Ideal for smaller telecom and industrial applications, the MicroTCA models are engineered to be an economical connectivity solution. Offered at half the cost of comparable products, the MicroTCA models are available in a range of customizable configurations for full- and half-height Advanced Mezzanine Card slots. Each model includes a low cost power supply and features a forced evacuation and pressurization cooling design.

Available through Carlo Gavazzi Computing Solutions' unique "Quick-Turn" program, the 600 Series can be delivered within two weeks of order.
