Utilizing wire feed sensor and controller, Wizard View(TM) Wire Central DAQ System monitors critical welding wire usage information - quantity left in drum, speed of travel - measured in US or metric units. Elimination of constant manual inspections automates weld wire usage information monitoring. Alerts notify operator when wire has stopped moving, when pre-set amount of wire is left in drum, and when wire is not within programmable wire feed speed window limits.
Innovative Data Acquisition Solutions from ELCo Enterprises
Now you can easily monitor weld wire usage information without constant manual inspections. The Wizard View(TM) Wire Central Data Acquisition System utilizes a wire feed sensor along with a controller to monitor critical welding wire usage information, including the quantity of wire left in the drum and the speed at which it is traveling, measured in either U.S. or metric units. The unit generates three alerts: It notifies the operator when the wire has stopped moving; when a pre-set amount of wire is left in the drum; and when the wire is not within programmable wire feed speed window limits. With the firstStep Wizard View(TM) software (sold separately), the controller may also be connected through a PC connection where alerts can be automatically emailed and monitored data can be stored in a log file. In addition, the software allows you to set custom parameters on the controller. Compatible with Windows 2000 Pro, XP and Vista.
