Featuring 4-axis (X/Y/Z/C) simultaneous control, HM-3000 is equipped with gantry robot for work piece loading and unloading efficiency. For accelerated and smoother simultaneous multi-axis movement to access front, back, left, and right of traverse axis, milling cell comes with SP1 Max Robot Controller in addition to Fanuc 210i-MB CNC Control. Tools are mounted in circular arrangement, and axial/radial holders can be freely attached anywhere on turret.
FUJI'S New HM-3000 Milling Cell Achieves 5-Face Machining in a Single Chucking
Vernon Hills, IL - (July 14, 2008) Featuring 4-axis (X/Y/Z&C) simultaneous control, the HM-3000 Milling Cell from Fuji is capable of 5-face machining in one chucking for processing flanges, hubs, differential cases and more.
Equipped with Fuji's own high-speed gantry robot, the HM-3000 provides work piece loading and unloading efficiency. For faster and smoother simultaneous multi-axis movement to access the front, back, left and right of the traverse axis, the HM-3000 comes with FUJI's SP1 Max Robot Controller. A Fanuc 210i-MB CNC Control is also included.
The tools are mounted in a circular arrangement. Axial and radial holders can be freely attached anywhere on the turret of the HM-3000. Attaching an axial holder diagonally creates a B-axis on the machining center for machining angular holes. Turret tool capacity of the HM-3000 is offered with turrets of 6, 10 and 15 tool stations.
The bed design allows swarf-chips to fall directly into the large discharge opening beneath the main spindle. Chips are transported away by Fuji designed and built chip conveyor.
The HM-3000 is ideal for drilling and milling after turning operations at the end of a modular production line or as a stand-alone operation.
The modular design of Fuji's Milling Cell allows for line integration with Fuji ANS, ANW and TNW models.
FUJI turns the machining of a part into process perfection. When you contact FUJI, the part you will be machining is analyzed by engineers with vast experience in process and manufacturing engineering.
