Operating on 12 V or 24 Vdc input, Model AX030300 features IP67 packaging and connectors for harsh environments. Ten digital inputs are user-selectable as active high/active low, while 8 digital inputs are user-selectable as active high/active low, disable input, PWM signal, pulse, or counter. Equipped with Windows-based Electronic Assistant(TM) for configuration, saving, and writing settings, AX030300 is suited for engine controls for power generation, co-generation, and stationary power.
Distributed I/O - 18 Digital Input to CAN (SAE J1939 or CANopen) with Electronic Assistant(TM)
Axiomatic Technologies announces the release of a new Distributed I/O with 18 digital inputs and a CAN (SAE J1939 or CANopen) output. Axiomatic's part number AX030300 provides efficient and safe engine operation with the robust circuits and rugged packaging for use in harsh environments.

o 8 digital inputs are user selectable from the following:
- Active High/Active Low
- Disable input
- PWM signal from sensors or diesel engine ECM's
- Pulse (Hz or RPM)
- Counter
o 10 digital inputs are user selectable as Active High/Active Low
o 12V or 24VDC input power (nominal) with rugged surge protection
o 1 CAN (SAE J1939)
o CANopen module available on request (P/N: AX030301)
o Rugged IP67 packaging and connectors, suitable for harsh environments
o Electronic Assistant(TM) runs on a Windows operating system for user configuration, saving and writing settings to additional controllers during set-up. An Axiomatic USB-CAN converter links the PC to the CAN bus.

Electronic Assistant(TM)
The Electronic Assistant (EA) runs on any modern PC with the Microsoft Windows® 2000 operating system or higher. It comes with a royalty-free license for use.
With connection to the bus, the EA finds all the devices on the bus, and recognizes the Axiomatic controls. The user can quickly configure an Axiomatic control for its desired performance over a wide variety of applications. An Axiomatic CAN Assistant - Scope and Visual is also offered to monitor CAN messages in a text format. The CAN tools are useful PC-based diagnostic and debugging tools for J1939 or CANopen networked devices.
