Blower and Frequency Converter promote efficient operation.

July 9, 2008 - At 10.2 in. long x 3.8 in. dia, MONO compact blower supplies up to 32 cfm and generates static pressure of 0.72 psi. It fits tight spaces and operates at ambient temperatures up to 140°F. With brushless motor, system is maintenance-free and suited for continuous operation. Separately available, FC 550 frequency converter conserves energy by restricting blower to lower frequency and maintaining minimal air volume. Air volume can be adjusted with preset frequencies or remote control.

Press Release
Release date: June 9, 2008

Leister Process Technologies Releases MONO Blower and FC 550

The Swiss manufacturer has been a worldwide leader in plastic welding and hot-air equipment for more than 50 years.

SWITZERLAND - June 9, 2008 - Leister Process Technologies has released the high-pressure MONO compact blower to serve as an air supply for its trusted air heaters and the FC 550 frequency converter to increase power and efficiency for its Robust, Silence and ASO blowers.

Measuring just 10.2 inches long with a 3.8-inch diameter, the MONO compact blower supplies up to 32 cubic feet of air/minute and generates a static pressure of 0.72 pounds/square inch. Among the world's smallest and most compact blowers, the Leister tool was constructed to fit in tight spaces.

The MONO compact blower can be operated at an ambient temperature of up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and offers excess temperature protection. With a brushless motor, the system is maintenance free and suitable for continuous operation.

High-pressure MONO blower at a glance:

o Compact
o Air volume of 32 cubic feet/minute
o Static pressure of 0.72 pounds/square inch
o Maintenance-free, brushless motor for continuous operation
o Perfectly suited as air supply for Leister air heaters
o Integrated overheating protection
o Versatile assortment of accessories
o Bracket can be disassembled for tight spaces

The FC 550 saves on energy costs by restricting the blower to a lower frequency and maintaining minimal air volume. When using the frequency converter, a blower can operate with a higher frequency than a power grid, creating 60 percent better performance. With the FC 550, air volume can easily be adjusted with one of four preset frequencies or by remote control. This high-performance frequency converter comes ready to use and is configured to prevent thermal or mechanical damage.

FC 550 Frequency Converter at a glance:

o Configured for operation with Leister blowers
o 60 percent better blower performance
