Featuring reinforced insulation, THI-2M and TES-2M Series are rated for 4,000 Vac rms I/O isolation and safety-approved to EN/UL 60950-1 industrial or EN/UL 60601-1 medical safety standard. Packaging styles include 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.34 in. 16-pin DIP for THI-2M and 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.30 in. IPC J-STD-020C-rated SMT for TES-2M. Series THI-2M includes models with input voltages of 5, 12, or 24 Vdc (±10%) and regulated output voltages of 5, 12, 15, ±12, and ±15 Vdc.
2 Watt High Isolation DC/DC Converters with Reinforced Insulation
TRACOPOWER announces the release of the THI-2M / TES-2M Series of High Isolation with Reinforced Insulation DC/DC Converters providing 2 watts of power available in a small 16 Pin DIP (THI-2M) or Surface-Mount (TES-2M) Package. The isolation system makes these converters ideal solutions for applications requiring Supplementary or Reinforced Insulation such as medical or The THI-2M series features models with input voltages of 5, 12 or 24VDC (±10%) and regulated output voltages of 5, 12, 15, +/-12 and +/-15VDC.
All models are rated for 4000 VACrms I/O-isolation. The operating temperature range is specified for -25°C to +71°C. THI-2M products are packed in the industry standard 16 Pin DIP measuring only 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.34". TES-2M models in an IPC J-STD-020C rated Surface Mount Package measuring only 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.30". All models are safety approved to EN/UL 60950-1 industrial or EN/UL 60601-1 medical safety standard. These converters provide a ideal solution for many cost-critical applications in instrumentation or in commercial and medical equipment .
