CGW Launches FGF Depressed Center Wheels

NILES, ILL - June 2008 - CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels has introduced a line of flexible depressed center wheels branded FGF and FGF-Special wheels. The new 1/8-inch thick FGF and FGF-Special wheels are engineered for grinding and finishing with one wheel for increased productivity and convenience.

The new FGF wheels have a waffle-style pattern on the wheel face for cooler grinding and longer working life. FGF wheels are designed to absorb work piece vibrations and do not require hard pressure, reducing operator fatigue. Made from white aluminum oxide grain, FGF wheels provide contaminate-free results on stainless steel, metal, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals. FGF wheels are available in type 27 wheel shape and in 4-1/2, 5, and 7 inch diameters with 7/8 and 5/8-11 arbor holes.

The new FGF-Special wheels have a raised knob pattern on the wheel face for cool grinding and no material build up. FGF-Special wheels are designed to grind and blend on curved and straight work pieces without gouging. Made from aluminum oxide grain, FGF-Special wheels are recommended for stainless steel, metal, aluminum, cast iron and non-ferrous metal applications. FGF-Special wheels are available in type 29 wheel shape, 36 and 60 grits, and in 4-1/2, 5, and 7 inch diameters with 7/8 and 5/8-11 arbor holes.

"Our new FGF series depressed center wheels allow for flexibility, grinding and finishing with one wheel, keeping production time and costs low," said Joe O'Mera, president, CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels.

CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels is one of the world's leading suppliers of grinding wheels since 1956. Its 80,000 square foot USA facility serves as a centralized warehouse with manufacturing capabilities and includes customer service, sales and marketing departments.
