CLV1370A-LF Features Ultra Low Phase Noise

SAN DIEGO, June 26, 2008: Z-Communications, Inc. announces a new RoHS compliant VCO (Voltage-Controlled Oscillator) model CLV1370A-LF in L-band. The CLV1370A-LF operates from 1360-1380 MHz with a tuning voltage range of 0.5-4.5 Vdc. This VCO features a typical phase noise of -108 dBc/Hz @ 10KHz offset and a typical tuning sensitivity of 24 MHz/V.

The CLV1370A-LF is designed to operate at 5V DC supply while drawing 18 mA (typical) over the temperature range of -40º to 85ºC. This VCO features typical 2nd harmonic suppression of -20 dBc and comes in Z-Comm's industry standard MINI package measuring 0.50 in. x 0.50 in. x 0.22 in. It is available in tape and reel packaging for production requirements. The CLV1370A-LF is also ideal for automated surface mount assembly and reflow.

CLV1370A-LF is well suited for applications that require superior 2nd harmonic suppression and ultra low phase noise performance. Additional specifications for this product can be found on-line at http://www.zcomm.com/webstore/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=CLV1370A-LF
