June 25, 2008 - Suited for load cells and transducers utilizing full bridge strain gage configuration, Model 433 contains precision instrumentation amplifier with isolated, filtered output and regulated, adjustable output bridge excitation source. Self-contained, AC-powered unit provides isolated 4-20 or 0-20 mA output capable of driving 1,000 ohm loop. Gain amplifier can accept FS live load signals as low as 5 mV and provide 16 mA output span. Excitation supply can drive four 350 ohm load cells.

Complete Strain Gage Bridge Signal Conditioner


Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. of Concord, California announces the availability of the Calex Model 433. The Model 433 is a self-contained, AC powered signal conditioner for load cells and transducers utilizing a full bridge strain gage configuration. It contains a precision instrumentation amplifier with an isolated, filtered output and a highly regulated, low noise, adjustable output bridge excitation source.

The Model 433 provides an isolated 4 - 20 mA or 0 - 20 mA output capable of driving a 1000 ohm loop. This model employs a high gain amplifier, which can accept full scale live load signals as low as 5 mV and provide a 16 mA output span. This unit also has a bridge balance adjustment with an 80% tare offset capability.

The Model 433's excitation supply is capable of driving four 350 ohm load cells. The unit is completely encapsulated for use in rugged environments. Overall dimensions are 3.25"L x 2.00"W x 2.87" H. Calex offers the DIN-400 mounting adapter for use in DIN Rail applications. The 433 is backed by Calex's five year warranty.
