Shaft Collars & Couplings Remachineable By User To Reduce Downtime

A line of precision machined shaft collars and couplings that include a pilot hole to let users remachine them to match their own requirements is available from Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford Remachineable Collars & Couplings are made from steel and feature pilot holes to let users remachine them to their own specifications. Available from stock in 1-1/8" to 3" O.D. sizes, Stafford Remachineable Collars come in one- and two-piece clamp type styles. The couplings are offered in 11 sizes with finished bore ends from 1/2" to 2" I.D. and pilot bores from 0.235" to 0.485" I.D. at the other end, respectively, to help customers rebore while maintaining concentricity between each half.
