SignalQuest Introduces the World's Smallest Tilt Sensor

Lebanon, NH (April 25, 2008) - SignalQuest Inc. today introduced the SQ-MIN-830P tilt sensor, the first in a new line of extremely low profile micro-mechanical sensors. The SQ-MIN-830P is the world's smallest tilt and vibration sensor, at less than 1/3rd the size of the nearest competitor.

With industry leading form factor and intrinsic "zero power" design, the SQ-MIN series will bring tilt and vibration sensing to a whole new range of size constrained devices such as Bluetooth ear pieces, wrist watches, and hearing aids. Measuring at just 1.4 mm in diameter by 3.2 mm in length, the SQ-MIN package will fit on a standard two pad SMT landing. Following the success of the SQ-SEN series tilt and vibration sensors, the SQ-MIN will make ultra long battery life and movement based functionality accessible for extremely small device applications.

The SQ-SEN tilt and vibration sensor series was the first to bring US manufacturing standards at globally competitive prices to high volume mechanical sensor markets. The SQ-SEN-200 omnidirectional movement sensor has emerged as the recognized choice in RFID, GPS, and microprocessor "wake up" applications.
