Linear Introduces TRANS PROX(TM) - Integrated Radio Transmitter and Wiegand Access Control - Available in Miniature Key-Ring Packages
New ACT-31D and ACT-34D TRANS PROX Are Ideal for Multipoint Gate and Door Entry Systems
CARLSBAD, Calif. - Linear LLC, an innovator in telephone entry system, access control, door and gate operator products, is introducing ACT-31D and ACT-34D TRANS PROX(TM) radio transmitter and Wiegand access control integrated in miniature key-ring packages. Homeowners can now carry one simple product on a key-ring to enter buildings through multiple entry points. The radio control transmitter is compatible with Linear's telephone entry systems, multi door access controllers and gate receivers. The proximity access is compatible with Linear's AM-PR proximity reader in 26-bit Wiegand format. The ACT-31D and ACT-34D TRANS PROX are ideally suited for multi-tenant gated communities such as apartments, condominiums, and office buildings as well as residential garage and commercial door operators.
The wireless radio transmitter in both TRANS PROX devices is designed with Linear's Mega-Code format. The radio and Wiegand sections are block-coded with same facility and ID code making it easier to enroll TRANS PROX to Linear's telephone entry system and access controllers.
The ACT-31D is a single-button TRANS PROX that sends a unique code to an entry point. The ACT-34D is four-button TRANS PROX that sends a unique code for each button and is suitable for activating radio receiver near community access gate, automatic door, residential garage doors or other entry point.
"Simplicity, convenience and flexibility are built into all of Linear's products," said Larry Foisie, vice president of sales for Linear LLC. "Dealers and installers now have transmitter choices, TRANS PROX or traditional radio transmitters to meet their every day requirements."
