New Multi-Channel Leak Detector from InterTech Development Company
(www.intertechdevelopment.com) Manufacturers and machine builders seeking the lowest costs for leak testing in high volume production scenarios can now achieve unprecedented rapid test cycle times with the new InterTech Multi-Channel M1075-94X Pressure Change Leak Detector (http://www.intertechdevelopment.com/s... ). This compact instrument features up to four independent test circuits each with separate pressure transducers.
Six models are offered for either two or four-channel testing at high (0-10 psig), low (0-1 psig) or standard (0-3 psig) pressure. All models feature a transducer repeatability of 0.05% F.S.D., a transducer sensitivity of < 10-5 psi (STD), 0.01 second timer increments and a low internal volume (<1.5 cm3 ). Up to 1000 test records can be stored and analyzed for mean standard deviation or mean +/- 3 standard deviation. An easy-to-use touch panel displays all phases of test status, including reasons for rejects. The M1075-94X can either be used as a stand alone instrument or integrated with a PLC or PC.
Jacques Hoffmann, President of InterTech Development Company explains that the M1075-94X fills the need for rigorous leak testing in high volume production scenarios. Hoffmann says, "Single channel leak detectors often take up too much space and create a testing cycle drag on production time in many of the faster assembly operations. The cost of using a 4-channel leak tester instead of four separate single channel leak detectors is considerably less. The cost savings of dramatically improved throughput add to the value of this solution for any test-intensive assembly operation."
