Imanami Introduces Group Lifecycle Management for Active Directory
GroupID 5 Eliminates Group Glut
LIVERMORE, Calif., June 10 -- Imanami, the emerging leader in Group Management Solutions, announced today GroupID 5, the first solution to focus on all stages of group lifecycle management: automation, self-service and synchronization. Managing distribution and security groups requires a group management process to handle group expiration and ensure groups are accurate. In addition, GroupID's group lifecycle solution features allow for multiple group owners and support for Exchange 2007.
Imanami puts a spotlight on the lifecycle of a group, managing from the cradle to the grave. The new GroupID management suite includes:

Enterprises can have up to eight times more groups than users, and each group must be continually updated with each new employee, departure, promotion, internal moves, or when a group ends. Group expiration is the key component of a group's lifecycle. GroupID offers an automated way to expire or renew groups cluttering the Global Address List.
GroupID reduces the load on the IT staff and helpdesk by automating the group management process. Imanami's group lifecycle management solution increases employee productivity by ensuring users are in the correct distribution lists immediately. In addition, GroupID improves security by ensuring the accuracy of each security group automatically.

Pricing and Availability
GroupID 5 will be available in the Fall of 2008. Pricing for GroupID runs $5 to $20 per seat.
