BuildMyAd(TM) drives advertising revenue for media companies and provides value-add for business-to-business customers

CLEVELAND, June 4 -- BrandMuscle, Inc., an online marketing services company with solutions for national and local advertisers, announced today the launch of its new BuildMyAd(TM) solution. Unlike other industry leading BrandMuscle solutions that facilitate strictly defined ad versioning to comply with corporate standards, BuildMyAd allows small independent advertisers that are not affiliated with a brand to customize print and online advertisements. It accomplishes this by leveraging Adobe(R) Flex(R), an open source development framework for creating rich Web applications. BuildMyAd enables users to create visually engaging print ads, direct mail pieces and other promotional materials with flexible browser based templates.

BrandMuscle designed BuildMyAd as a self-service solution with two distinct applications; to help media companies drive revenue with efficient display and classified advertising templates, and to allow larger businesses to offer a marketing portal to their small and medium-size business customers.

Driving Revenue for Media Companies

BuildMyAd lets any user create fully customized and locally relevant print materials through an online interface, something newspapers, magazines and other media companies have been unable to easily provide due to the complex nature of display advertisements. The solution's five-step process walks the advertiser through planning, designing and purchasing display advertisements, as well as classified ads, printed inserts, online banners and other materials. Each interface is completely configurable and all rates, sizes and packages can easily be set up by the publication. Advertisers know up-front how much each ad costs before they get to the point of purchase, and they can save their work at any time and return later to complete their order. Completed ads are then stored in the system for easy retrieval and placement and payment can be made by credit card, invoice or account number.

BuildMyAd can also be utilized by businesses looking to offer a marketing portal to their small and medium-size business clients. Similar to the media company application, independent advertisers log on to a marketing portal and walk through a five-step process to create customized advertising materials. For example, a food distribution company can offer BuildMyAd to its independent restaurant customers - providing an additional service that bolsters its offering and creates added value for its customers.
