June 5, 2008 - Measuring 5.25 in. high and weighing 45 lb, SMC Ruggedized Microwave Amplifiers incorporate Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) technology and feature noise quieting as standard. Products are rated from 400 MHz to 1.0 GHz, 200 W, and suit outdoor mobile as well as fixed applications. Versions are also available in other frequency ranges to meet customer requirements.

IFI's innovative SMC Ruggedized Microwave Amplifiers for outdoor mobile & fixed applications. This model is a 400MHz -1.0 GHz 200WAmplifier with noise quieting as standard. In addition, this model features outstanding RF Pulse fidelity for all its possible applications in a compact lightweight design. This model is only 5.25" High and weighing only 45 pounds. We also offer other frequency ranges to meet virtually any customer's requirement. All solid state amplifiers have the TWT expertise the microwave RF industry has come to depend on from IFI.

The staff of IFI has several decades of individual experience in amplifier configurations beginning with devices such as: Tetrode Tubes, Traveling Wave Tubes, Klystrons, and Solid State Devices. Our staff has been involved with design, development and manufacturing of everything from the most basic test equipment to the most sophisticated military systems. This wealth of education and experience is what we utilize for our customers working in concert to find cost effective solutions to their requirements. IFI's experience extends to ruggedized environmentally protected equipment for outdoor communications and EW/ECM applications.
