Portable LED Fiberoptic Probe is comprised of illuminator handle and snap-in-place probe extension that slips over light source. Constructed of stainless steel, illuminator handle has pushbutton on/off switch and 1.25 W LED with focusing lens. Extensions come in 180°, 90°, and 45° angles, each in diameters of 0.120, 0.058, and 0.030 in., to reach and illuminate areas with limited access. Battery-powered probe can be fitted to borescopes with ACMI light guide connection post.

Titan Introduces New Portable LED Fiberoptic Probe for $284.99 to Illuminate and Inspect Hard-to-Reach Areas
(MAY 2008) - Designed to illuminate hard-to-reach areas for visual inspection, the new Portable LED Fiberoptic Probe from Titan Tool Supply Inc., Buffalo, New York, is available from stock for prices starting at $284.99 depending upon on the sizes and number of angled probe extensions ordered. Each probe extension slips on and securely snaps into place over the light source on the illuminator handle. The extensions come in three different angles, 180 degrees (straight), 90 degrees, and 45 degrees, each in diameters of 0.120-in., 0.058-in., and 0.030-in. to reach and illuminate areas with otherwise limited access, Titan states. Applications include:

Powered by three AAA batteries (supplied with the unit) the new probe features a 1.25-Watt LED illuminator with a focusing lens to provide the same light output as a 3-Watt LED with less heat generated, according to the company. Since the LED is designed to last for more than 10,000 hours, there is unlikely a need for expensive bulb replacement.
Constructed of stainless steel, the illuminator handle of the portable unit has an easy push-button on/off switch, Titan states. In addition to functioning independently from a plug-in power source, the new LED illuminator can be fitted to all borescopes with an ACMI light guide connection post.
Available through secure ordering online, the base price of $284.99 includes the illuminator handle and one probe, the size and angle of the probe selected by the customer. Each additional probe is $65.00. The illuminator handle and entire set of nine probes is discount-priced at $739.99.
