Built to military standards, Guardian Tablet comes in magnesium alloy housing, is designed for in-field use, and will withstand 4 ft drop. It is powered by Via Eden or Core 2 Duo processors and incorporates daylight-viewable 10.4 in. display as well as resistive touchscreen. Communications are enabled via 802.11 WLAN and Bluetooth, while compact flash and hard drive deliver data storage. PCMCIA Type-II slot, various I/O ports, and GPS module are also available.
