Matrikon(TM) TaiJi PID v2.0 lets users tune and optimize control loops in their facilities, safely and efficiently. EDMONTON, May 26 -- Matrikon Inc. (TSX: MTK) announces the release of Matrikon(TM) TaiJi PID v2.0, providing even more capabilities to the ground-breaking modeling and tuning product.
Matrikon Control Performance Monitor's TaiJi PID v2.0, now gives the ability to tune multiple loops from closed loop and operating data. This presents a paradigm change to the way tuning is conventionally done. It gives plant engineers, technicians and operators the ability to tune and optimize the control loops in their facilities in a safe and efficient manner by using the world-renowned TaiJi closed loop identification methodology.
Loops can be tuned without having to put them into a manual operation mode and moreover, Matrikon TaiJi v2.0 enables plant wide tuning activities to be managed from a single environment. TaiJi PID modeling and tuning methodology also allows you to tune from operating data in cases where sufficient information may be present in the data. By installing Matrikon TaiJi PID v2.0, plant personnel can now reduce the effort required to tune loops by up to 80% by carrying out closed loop tuning for multiple loops simultaneously.
