Gas Detector identifies toxic and combustible hazards.
May 23, 2008 -
Utilizing electrochemical sensors, portable Model X5 measures up to 5 toxic gases simultaneously, including H2S, CO, O2, SO2, PH3, NH3, NO2, HCN, CI2, CIO2, O3, and hydrogen. Optional photoionization sensor detects 0-1,000 ppm concentrations of volatile organic compounds. Compatible with MicroDock II test/calibration/docking station, detector is suited for police and fire, HAZMAT, environmental site, homeland defense, emergency response, and industrial applications.

Honeywell Analytics' X5 is an advanced, compact multi-gas portable gas detector that provides rapid identification of many toxic and combustible hazards (including volatile organic compounds) found in police and fire, HAZMAT, environmental site, homeland defense, emergency response and countless industrial applications.
The X5 electrochemical sensors measure up to five toxic gases simultaneously including H2S, CO, O2, SO2, PH3, NH3, NO2, HCN, CI2, CIO2, O3, hydrogen. In addition an optional PID (photoionization) sensor detects 0-1000 ppm (parts per million) concentrations of volatile organic compounds including solvents, paint thinners, benzene, butadiene, hexane, toluene as well as vapors associated with fuels such as gasoline, diesel, heating oil, kerosene and jet fuel.
The X5 is smaller and over 50% lighter than competitive instruments. It is compatible with MicroDock II, Honeywell's automatic test/calibration/ docking station. This docking station can link up to ten modules, offering protection for an entire crew.
