MPL Announces New Miniature Pressure Switch, The MPL 5000X

Pompano Beach, Fl - Micro Pneumatic Logic (MPL) is proud to announce a new cost effective miniature pressure switch targeting the OEM medical market. The MPL 5000X with its small footprint is ideal for PCB mounting and is easily incorporated into miniature assemblies for medical applications like nebulizers, portable oxygen concentrators and other forms of drug delivery systems. These switches offer a high degree of switching point accuracy and reliability, compact space saving size and very competitive pricing.

The MPL 5000X is rated between 0.01 in./H20and 0.75 in./H20. The switch pressure is factory set and calibrated to the desired switching pressure. The proof pressure for these switches is 1.0 psi with a burst pressure of 25 psi. The switches perform reliably in an operating temperature range of -40°F to 120°F. These new miniature pressure switches utilize precious metal contacts to provide extended lifetime and reliability.

The MPL 5000X miniature pressure switch is a result of extensive research and development to provide a high-quality, reliable economical solution for general purpose low pressure switching. Ideal for deployment in applications that have
space limitations these pressure switches are an inexpensive solution for task monitoring. The switches are designed to support low-current logic applications.

For the past 35 years MPL has earned a global reputation of product innovation and service excellence which began with the production of a sensitive miniature pressure switch used to improve the reliability of mainframe computers. Through decades of manufacturing experience and commitment to vertical integration, MPL has learned what works in specifying and mass producing precision pressure sensing and pressure switching products. Today MPL switches can be found literally everywhere from hospital rooms to residential homes.

MPL is vertically integrated, global company with capability to design a new concept, prototype, design production tooling, and integrate precision stamping and molding with automated assembly, calibration and product testing. All of MPL's facilities are ISO 9000:2000 certified and adhere to the systematic use of quality tools from design to production.
