Milwaukee Introduces New SwitchBlade(TM) Selfeed Bits

MILWAUKEE, WI - Milwaukee Electric Tool Corporation introduces SwitchBlade(TM) selfeed bits, a new solution designed to ensure that contractors maintain a sharp blade. A replaceable, precision-ground blade system provides maximum productivity and eliminates the cost of having to resharpen, allowing the bit to cut like new again. Each bit comes standard with a second replacement blade, which ensures up to twice the life of an existing selfeed bit. Available in the sizes that plumbers, HVAC contractors and electricians use most frequently, SwitchBlade selfeed bits are used for drilling multiple holes in all types of wood and for various types of pipe, vent and gas lines and bulk wire routing.

Investment cast high alloy steel holds sharp cutting edges longer and a newly designed aggressive feed screw provides 12% faster cutting than a standard selfeed bit. A thick, heavy-duty shank with quick-change hex ensures a secure chuck grip.

SwitchBlade selfeed bits are available in multiple sizes ranging from 1-3/8" to 2-9/16". Additional accessories include the 3 blade replacement set and 10 blade replacement set, which are both offered in five sizes and include replacement blades, hex wrench and set screws.
