Amptronix Mobile DVR ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) Series

Featured Embedded Design with Advanced Features and Low Power-consumption, Fanless; Incorporated Rugged Removable Hard Drive Featuring Shock-resistant, Anti-vibration Design Provides Uninterrupted In-Vehicle Surveillance under Harsh Environment

Walnut, CA, April 2008 - Continue the success of Amptronix Mobile DVR-350 Series in aviation, military and industrial applications, Amptronix has pushed the boundary of Mobile Surveillance by introducing Mobile DVR ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) Series integrated with the most rugged, patent-designed removable hard drive for applications with advanced data transport and security concerns. The rugged device is designed to meet the MIL-STD-810F in shocking, vibration, and operating temperature to provide uninterrupted video recording under harsh environment mobile surveillance needs, such as aviation, military vehicle, school buses, trains, law enforcement, fleet, trucks, and other industrial applications.

Amptronix Mobile ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) Series features high capacity, high performance storage disk in a ruggedized package that can survive the rigors of fleet transportation and distribution systems. The rugged disk features up to 5,000Gs/0.5ms (non-operating) 300Gs at 2ms (operating) shock resistant and up to 3G (2.5~500Hz) non-operating 0.67Gs (5~500Hz) vibration-resistant removable storage media utilize 2.5-inch hard drive cartridge up to 160GB (Cartridge with Solid State Disk is available upon request by projects). Operating temperature ranges at 5 °C~55°C and storage temperature at -40 ° C~65°C. The rugged disk not only engineered to withstand harsh mobile environment by meeting military standards, but also designed as the most compact pocket-size removable storage device in an ultra lightweight and rugged enclosure. Compare to other removable HDD device in the market, ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) series provide additional convenience to users as there is no extra reader needed in reviewing the recorded data from this rugged disk. Users can simply connect rugged disk to PC with SCSI, IDE, or USB Firewire cables. The disk can be used as the most compact portable floppy disk for external data storage media on the move. Rugged housing carry cases for single piece or up to 16 pieces storage are also available.

Amptronix Mobile ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) Series produces MPEG4 video at 640*480 resolution, supports three levels of video quality setting, and five levels of frame per second setting up to 30FPS per channel, which significantly increase storage flexibility and efficiency. Recorded data can be retrieved from removable hard drive, Compact Flash card, mini USB, wireless transmission or Ethernet FTP connections. Powerful Alarm systems such as up to 6 triggered detected alarms, one-to-multi channels motion detections, as well as video loss detection allow users to set up alarm systems corresponding to particular security needs. Each alarm system has selectable Pre/Post Alarm, GPRS, GPS GPRMC and SMS functions in response to alarm detections. Pre/Post alarm enables it to automatically record video before and after alarms. The support of GPRS and SMS service in response to alarm systems ensure important message and images can be remotely received via PC or cell phone to prevent unlawful interference and provide off-line tracking. Add-on GPS also provides position information for online or off-route tracking with map software. Rugged housing is also engineered to withstand heavy vibration up to 2.7Grms for protecting hard disk. It is compact and easy for installation. Remote control and straightforward interface also makes it the most user friendly surveillance device in the market.

In addition, Mobile ARM354 (MDVR354-RM) Series provides playback software with GPS information, alarm trigger information, fast video / data search under specific hard drive directory or recorded data files, and snapshot image export. Custom software or board-level design are available. Custom housing design or integration projects are also welcome.
