Design Software streamlines user interface development cycle.

May 9, 2008 - Aurora for Architects is used in development of .NET software and Internet applications that use Windows Presentation Foundation. Application generates XAML to support collaboration between designer and developer and contains predefined templates for creating screens, works in multiple layers, and supports 2D vector graphics. Options include specifying linear, radial, visual, image, and video brushes. Optimized output allows individual graphics to be integrated with .NET code-behind.

MOBIFORM Software, Inc. Releases Aurora for Architects

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla., May 6 -- MOBIFORM Software, Inc. announced today the availability of its new product, Aurora for Architects, a timesaving graphics and user interface design application used in the development of Microsoft® .NET 3.5 software and Internet applications that use Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).

Aurora for Architects is a powerful standalone design application that generates the XAML markup language necessary to supports collaboration and direct file hand-off between the designer and developer, a departure from the traditional user interface development process. Aurora for Architects contains predefined templates for creating screens, works in multiple layers, supports 2D vector graphics and has powerful options for specifying linear, radial, visual, image and video brushes. The output from Aurora for Architects is optimized so that the individual graphics can be easily integrated with .NET code-behind.

"Very simply, Aurora for Architects helps designers and developers streamline the UI development cycle and reduce their products' time-to-market," said Ron DeSerranno, President of MOBIFORM Software. "We recognize that software development takes a significant amount of time and money and we're excited to be able to offer a product that provides a single file format -- XAML -- that will allow the designer to pass the file directly to the developer."

Aurora for Architects is currently shipping and available for sale on the MOBIFORM website.
