Utilizing miniature precision anti-backlash screw, low-profile leadscrew actuator offers screw position repeatability of 0.00127 mm and lead accuracy of 0.0006 mm. There are 3 screw leads available, from 0.50-10.85 mm, each with 68 mm stroke. Along with body and carriages made from 6082 T6 aluminum, elements of construction include 303 stainless steel leadscrew with TFE coating, self-lubricating polyacetal anti-backlash nut with spring, and stainless steel linear slides.
Specialist engineered components supplier, Rino Industries Ltd, are pleased to announce the launch of their own in-house produced low profile leadscrew actuator.
Screw position repeatability is 0.00127mm as a miniature precision anti-backlash screw is used within the unit for ultimate precision giving lead accuracy of 0.0006mm/mm. Operating temperature is between 0-93ºC, nut tensile strength 9700psi, mass of carriage assembly 0.11kg and a drag torque of 0.4Ncm are all key features and characteristics. There are three screw leads to choose from of between 0.50 to 10.85mm and all have a stroke of 68mm.
The body and carriages are made from 6082 T6 aluminium, the leadscrew is 303 stainless steel with a TFE coating, the anti-backlash nut is self-lubricating polyacetal with a spring and the linear slides are made from a hardened stainless steel similar to 440C with synthetic resin end plates whilst the radial bearings are 440C stainless with ZZ shields.
