Axiomatic Has Released a New CAN-Based Hydraulic Valve Controller
April 25, 2008 - Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Axiomatic has released a new CAN-based hydraulic valve controller offering the end user a high value/cost ratio. With superior processing technology, one universal signal input and one output up to 2A, and including a CAN (SAE J1939) port, the AX021600 Single CAN Controller is an economical solution to meet the complex control requirements in today's off-highway equipment. With the ability to accept sensor, joystick, frequency, or other inputs and apply software based algorithms for complex or simple control functions, this small footprint device is a useful extension on a wide variety of machine applications.
Features:
o 32-bit microprocessor technology
o High-performance embedded control logic (user programmable)
o 1 user selectable universal signal input (Voltage, Current, Resistive, Digital, PWM or Frequency)
o Software controlled output up to 2 A (Proportional or On/Off)
o Wide power supply range (6 - 60VDC) - 12V or 24V nominal
o 1 CAN (SAE J1939) port
o CANopen module available on request
o PCB is enclosed in heat shrink wrap with 6 inch lead wires terminated in 3 Deutsch IPD DT06 plugs for installation in-line with a wire harness. (Application-specific IP67 rated packaging is available on request.)
o Electronic Assistant(TM) runs on a Windows operating system for user configuration. An Axiomatic USB-CAN converter links the PC to the CAN bus.
