Taipei Taiwan (April 29, 2008)--AAEON (TAIEX: 2463), a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, releases the latest XTX (extended Technology for ETX) module. The debut of XTX-915 completes the XTX product line. The XTX module is compatible with ETX Rev. 2.7, but not for the pin definition of the X2 connector. This advanced XTX module implements the serial technologies into the X2 connector that bundles SATA and PCI-Express to replace the ISA interface on the ETX module. XTX-915 enhances the serial technology for those customers who do not need ISA interface.
XTX-915 is equipped with Intel® Socket 478-based Pentium® M/ Celeron® M processors and 200-pin DDR II 400/533 SODIMM to support system memory up to 2GB. XTX-915 adopts Intel® 915GME + ICH6-M chipset that features low power consumption and high performance. XTX-915 has another key feature that offers plentiful expansion interfaces. It accommodates four PCI-Express〔x1〕, four 32-bit PCI, one LPC bus, one SMBus and one I2C interface. These expansion interfaces provide flexibility for transportation and other vertical applications.

The display function of XTX-915 integrates Intel® 915GME chipset and shared system memory up to 128MB. It supports CRT/LCD simultaneous/dual view displays and the LCD interface features 18-bit dual-channel LVDS. Moreover, XTX-915 deploys one SDVO connector to expand the display function. The rich I/Os on XTX-915 definitely are a great benefit for this new XTX module. It features two PATA, four SATA, two serial ports, one parallel port, six USB2.0 ports, to name a few.
