Douglas Continuous Motion Axiom® DL Case/Tray Packers

gently handle products at high speeds

Alexandria, Minnesota - April 1, 2008
The Douglas Continuous Motion Axiom® DL case/tray packers use direct product loading to gently and quickly load products onto a case or tray blank at speeds to 55 cases/trays per minute. Electronic motion controls ensure repeatable changeovers and the Axiom® DL is designed to use less floor space than most continuous motion case/tray packers. Walk-in frame construction maximizes accessibility, so personnel can quickly and efficiently perform changeovers and preventive maintenance.

Features may include the patented Smartrak® Steady Stream Infeed to eliminate product bridging and remove the gaps that compromise pack pattern accuracy and continuous product flow and patented Slipstream(TM) pinless metering for stable product metering without the use of traditional metering pins.

The Axiom's large size range coupled with an intuitive HMI simplifies the addition of future product sizes. An electronic handwheel provides effortless hand cycling when needing to view the entire machine function in slow motion. Optional tool-free changeovers are completed in minutes with minimal change parts.

All Axiom® Case/Tray Packers are backed by Douglas' exclusive 3-year limited warranty.
